1998 Reynolds Orange Merlot

Deep brick red colour. Delightful sniffing, lifted aromas of crushed mulberry, mint, cinnamon and violets, followed by a 'sweet' ripe plum end note. This wine reflects the ripe fruit aromas experienced on the nose with mint, ripe plums, blackpepper and vanilla spice flavour. Fine grained tannins, dry and lingering, but balanced, followed by long mint, vanilla, blackcurrant and plum aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
