1998 Passing Clouds Grenache

This Grenache has been produced from 25 year old low yielding vines. Translucent, crimson mauve colour. Medium body weight. The nose is interesting, with its notes of spice, confectionary and raspberry, followed by a wild berry sorbet end note. The palate displays raspberry flavours, followed by a layer of spice and raspberry jam, with liquorice back palate flavour. Fine grained tannins, followed by a raspberry jam aftertaste.
