1998 Passing Clouds Angel's Blend Dry Red

Passing Clouds is one of the oldest vineyards in the Bendigo district, having been established some 25 years ago. This wine is made from low yielding non irrigated vines, and consists of a blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.Very deep, almost opaque, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of mint, chocolate, spice, blackcurrants and liquorice allsorts. The palate displays excellent regional characters with its underlying mint flavour. Excellent weight and depth with mint integrated with spice and blackcurrant. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by a long blackcurrant, stewed fruit and dark chocolate aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
