Opaque crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose provides an excellent sniffing experience, with top notes of violets, followed by spice, plum, blackberry and vanilla. The palate has very good length, with flavours of plum, spice, vanilla and liquorice emerging. Fine dry tannins, followed by a long spicy plum vanilla liquorice aftertaste.

Opaque black crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Perfumed nose, with aroma of violets and spice, with nuances of vanilla and blackpepper. On the palate, the spice, plum and blackpepper flavours are persistent overlaid by vanillin oak and a touch of plum pudding. Excellent length and concentration, fine grained dry tannins, followed by a long vanilla, spice, cedar and plum pudding aftertaste.
