1998 Monte Schiavo Conti Cortesi Rosso DOC

This wine has been made from a blend of 85% Montepulciano and 15% Sangiovese. Deep crimson red colour, with brick red hues. Aroma of earth, spice and stewed fruit with leather and violet end notes. The palate delivers plenty of flavour – with impressive length and depth. Flavours of earth and raisins over truffle, cedar and spice. Soft acid finish. Try this wine with a spicy pasta dish or grilled red meat.
