This wine needs time to evolve. Medium body, crimson colour, with deep crimson mauve edges. The nose is subtle yet very refined. Nuances of strawberry, spice, truffles and just a hint of game gradually evolve, and herald a great wine of the future. The palate flavours are a touch light at the front, but built relatively quickly to produce a young Pinot flavour wave. Fine grained tannins with cherry and strawberry aftertaste. Cellar 4 – 5 years.
