1998 Longleat Cabernet Sauvignon

A big improvement on previous vintages. Opaque crimson colour with deep mauve edges. Strong aromas of spice, mint, arrowmint and blackcurrant. Full bodied, mint plum, stewed fruit and arrowmint flavour, followed by a liquorice, tar back palate. Fine grained tannins, quite dry and mint tar liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
