1998 Heathcote Winery Curagee Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour. Aroma of vanilla, spice, violets and confectionery followed by a plum and black pepper background. The palate shows excellent concentration of flavour, with spice, blackberry, plum, vanilla and oak married, but still wishing to exert their independence. Fine grained very firm tannin structure, quite dry and lingering with long vanilla, liquorice aftertaste. A very youthful wine. Cellar 5-8 years. Extremely Limited Stocks.
