1998 Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz

An outstanding red, capable of 8-10 years cellaring. Deep crimson colour with dark mauve edges. The earthy notes rise first and dominate the nose. Plum, spice and blackpepper follow and finally blackcurrant, blackberry and vanilla. The palate flavours are mouthfilling, excellent depth and concentration of flavour with spice, plum and liquorice all sorts evident. Perfect balance, fine grained soft tannins, followed by a long plum and spice aftertaste. A generous rich Barossa red.
