1998 d'Arenberg The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon

Fantastic colour, the sort of purple mauve that indicates both youth and exceptional flavour outcomes. Perfumed nose of violets, blackcurrant and spice. Mouthfilling palate, filled with the ripe flavour of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice, followed by a warm finish on the back palate. Fine grained, firmish but well balanced tannins, followed by a very long ripe blackcurrant, spice and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
