An outstanding example of the blend. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Delightful nose with aroma of confectionery, spice, vanilla, raspberry and raspberry jube. Mouthfilling palate, complex, with distinctive flavours of blackpepper, raspberry, raspberry jube and liquorice. Excellent balance with fine grained dry tannins, followed by an exceptionally long aftertaste of ripe plums, liquorice and raspberry jam. Cellar 3-4 years.
