1998 Cockfighters Ghost Semillon

Bright pale straw colour with a green tinge. The nose is beginning to show signs of toastiness, however, the dominant characteristics are confectionary, tropical fruit and a delicate grassy end note. On the palate citrus and unripe passionfruit are enhanced by subtle grassy flavours, however, the flavours are a touch dilute. Crisp acid finish followed by a subtle toasted honey aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
