This vineyard is owned by Alain Meyre, who is also the proprietor of Chateau Cap Leon Veyrin. The wines are impressive, and that may be in part due to their location. The vineyard adjoins Chateau Chasse Spleen and Chateau Clarke. The wines are matured in oak casks, of which a large proportion is new.

Very deep crimson mauve colour. Classic Bordeaux nose of blackcurrant, cedar, truffle, spice and liquorice all sorts. On the palate flavours of stewed fruit, spice and liquorice. Excellent weight and length. Velvet smooth tannin structure, followed by an aftertaste of cherry, blackcurrant, spice and dark chocolate.
Cellar 2-3 years (2002 - 2004).
