GRAPE VARIETY
Grenache (60 to 70 %), Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre.

SOIL
Sandstone and rocky alluvions. This terroir gives great elegance and subtlety. The vineyard is situated between Orange and the “Mont Ventoux”, on the left bank of the Rhône.

HARVEST
Hand harvesting at maturity.

VINIFICATION
This Gigondas is vinified in the traditional way with daily pumping-over.

MATURING
Part of the wine ages in oak casks; the other part in vats. Bottling after 12 to 16 months of maturing.

TASTING
Colour : Ruby colour.
Nose :Elegant and powerful nose, aromas of strawberry jam, and pepper.
Palate : The palate is floral, tannic and spicy.
