1998 Cathcart Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep brick red colour with deep brick red hue showing its bottle age. Aroma of stewed fruit, spice, leather and cedar. The palate fruit flavours are drying out. Flavours of stewed fruit, cedar and leather are dominant, followed by a touch of earth on the back palate. Dry tannins, overwhelm the fruit and persist long into the aftertaste.
