1998 Boynton's Cabernet Sauvignon

A rich, generous, North East Victorian Cabernet.Very deep, black brick red colour. The nose displays aroma of abundant ripe fruits, dominated by ripe plum, earth, leather, vanilla, chocolate and spice. Generous full bodied palate, with flavours of chocolate, plum, spice and blackcurrants, followed by liquorice all sorts end palate flavours. Fine grained, soft tannins, followed by an aftertaste of plum, spice and stewed fruits. Cellar 3-4 years.

Brick red, crimson colour. Medium weight. Aroma of ripe plums, spice and blackcurrant followed by a hint of liquorice as an end note. On the palate, ripe Cabernet flavours emerge, over a spice, blackcurrant and liquorice aftertaste. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by a spice, blackcurrant and cedar aftertaste.Cellar 2-3 years (2003-2004).
