1998 Baileys Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep crimson, brick red colour, almost opaque. Delightful nose with aroma of confectionery, almond, cedar, blackcurrants and liquorice allsorts. The palate is disappointing and is totally dominated by very firm tannins, which overshadow the plum and spice fruit flavours. Cellar 4-5 years for some tannin reprieve.
