1998 Arrowfield Chardonnay

Take care not to overchill this wine as it is quite subtle. Bright pale gold straw colour. The nose displays aromas of peach, spice and tropical fruits. Good simple varietal definition in the riper end of the aroma spectrum. On the palate the flavours of ripe peaches merge with nutty melon to create a good but straightforward drink. Soft acidity, followed by spice, vanilla, peach and tropical fruit aftertaste. A good commercial wine.
