1997 Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon

Made from a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Shiraz and 5% Malbec. This is a sophisticated wine with considerable complexity. Deep crimson colour. Aromas of cedar, tobacco and truffle with a spicy blackcurrant background. The palate is impressive with pronounced earthy, cedar, blackcurrant and plum flavours - good length, fine grained tannins, excellent balance, with long cedar, plum, blackcurrant and spice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
