1997 Signatory Vintage Glen Keith 22 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Built by Seagrams in the late 1950s when sales of Chivas Regal were skyrocketing, Glen Keith was a dedicated blend-filler, mothballed in 1999, only to be reopened in 2013 after a complete refit including a new mash tun and washbacks. The closure partly explains why this distillery is considered quite a find by malt completionists and Signatory have been at the forefront in bringing it to a wider audience. Part of the Pernod Ricard group since 2001 and situated within eyesight of their centre piece distillery, 'Strathisla', this Glen Keith was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2020. It's therefore close to the last of 'old era' Glen Keiths. Expect a classically fresh, gently fruity Speysider. 299 bottles from a single hogshead. 54.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
