Produced since 1970, it is similar to the Montestefano but less aggressive when young. The grapes for this wine have been specially selected from the "Montefico" vineyards. Wines from this vineyard are produced only in exceptional years. The wine has had four years in medium sized Slavonic oak barrels before being bottled. Each bottle is numbered for authenticity.
