Characteristics: Good deep cherry red in colour. Subdued but perfumed aromas of red fruits and flowers. Lively acids and firm tannins give this wine excellent structure for ageing.
Serve: allow time to breathe before serving and delicately double decant.
Try With: Game birds, polenta and truffles.
