1997 Passing Clouds Angel's Blend

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Deep brick red colour, medium body. Delightful aromas showing off the complexity of the blend. Cedar, truffle, cherry and spice followed by a wonderful marzipan end note, that lifts the wine heavenwards. The palate is a touch restrained, but well structured for 5-8 years cellaring. Earthy, blackcurrant flavours persist with hints of truffle and leather. Fine grained dry tannins, which linger, followed by a very long blackcurrant, cedar and spice aftertaste.
