Domaine Bonneau du Martray was established in 1886, however the property itself dates back over 1,000 years. Emperor Charlemagne (Charles I of France) is believed to be the first owner, with the property changing hands only four times in the last 1,225 years. Consisting of just 3.7 acres Pinot Noir and 23.5 acres Chardonnay, Domaine Bonneau du Martray produces two of Burgundy’s finest wines, red Corton and white Corton-Charlemagne.

The wines produced reflect the vineyard’s terroir, minimal oak (12 months in barrel maximum) and require some cellaring before drinking. Domaine Bonneau du Martray Corton should start to show its true colours after 3-4 years cellaring.
