Medium body, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of mocca and spice, with hints of Rhone ‘animal’ and cherry. The palate flavours are light, some earth and stewed fruit characters emerge. Relatively short. Firmish, dry tannins. Earthy leather aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
