Grape Varieties: 100% Aglianico
Region: In the districts of Rionero, Ginestra, Barile and Rapolla in the southern region of Basilicata
Vinification: Grapes are picked late October and fermentation occurs on the skins for 8-10 days. The wine is then aged in Slavonian oak for two years and a further three years in the bottle before release.
Characteristics: A deep impenetrable rich red. The full and generous bouquet offers notes and berries, tobacco, toasty oak and spice. The palate is rich, concentrated and beautifully balanced yet elegant.
Serve: Open approximately 2 hours prior to serving.
