1997 Cullen Pinot Noir

The fruit for this wine was picked at 13.5 degree Baume which has given the wine considerable richness. Thirty per cent of the wine was matured in New French oak, approximately half of which was barrel fermented. Cherry red colour. The nose displays intense complex aromas with cherry notes dominating. The complex flavours on the nose are reflected on the palate with cherry flavours being complemented by good acid and tannin levels. Cellar up to 5 years.
