The vineyard consists of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. The wine is matured in barriques for between 15 and 18 months in oak of which 50% is new.Very deep crimson colour with mauve edges. The deepest coloured wine in the line up. Slightly perfumed nose with aromas of earth, violets, truffle and cedar. Excellent palate weight and depth of flavour with strong blackcurrant flavours overriding spice and cedar.
