1997 Beringer Zinfandel

A Zinfandel that is drinking well. Medium body, crimson brick red in colour. Aroma of earth, spice and dark cherry with hints of blackberry and leather. The palate has good weight, with flavour of spice, leather, blackberry and truffle emerging. Moderate length. Soft tannins followed by an aftertaste of spice, leather, earth and liquorice.
