Each vintage Barossa Valley Estate select only the very best fruit for the E&E Shiraz from a base of 70 growers with vineyards throughout the Barossa Valley. The wine was matured in a combination of new, one and two year old French and American oak barrels for 12-18 months. This is classic old vines Shiraz produced from 60 year old dry grown vines in the North East of Barossa. Deep brick red colour with crimson edges. On the nose there are aromas of ripe Shiraz - tar, plum, vanilla, spice and dark chocolate with some earthy end notes. Ripe mouthfilling palate, generous flavour of stewed fruit with blackpepper end palate. Perfect balance with strong vanilla, plum, spice and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years. 14.9% alcohol volume.
