1996 Seppelt Dorrien Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque brick red colour with some crimson hues. The nose is very appealing with aromas of cedar, spice, blackcurrants, violets, and strong ripe plum end notes. On the palate flavours of ripe plum and stewed fruit with liquorice and tar end palate flavours. Slightly coarse, fine grained tannins, excellent balance followed by aftertaste of tar, plum and stewed fruit. Cellar 8-10 years.
