This is a very impressive Sparkling wine & oozes real class - in fact it is probably the best wine Brown Brothers produce, full stop!
Brilliant straw colour. Excellent mousse, with very fine, persistent bead. Superb nose which could easily be mistaken for a quality French Champagne. Strong yeast autolysis nose, followed by biscuit cashew notes and strong toasted bread end notes. Mouthfilling palate of considerable length, complexity and persistence. Powerful yeast lees flavours over toast and biscuit. Clean finish, with very long aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years. (2004-2005)
