1996 Barossa Valley Estate Ebenezer Shiraz

This wine was barrel fermented in American oak followed by a minimum of 24 months oak maturation. Deep plum red colour. On the nose there are complex aromas of berry fruit, leather, chocolate and hints of vanillin oak. The palate is filled with rich ripe berry fruit along with chocolate, tobacco, earthy characters and vanillin oak. Soft tannins and good concentration. Cellar 5 years. 14.0% Alcohol Volume.
