1995 Water Wheel Cabernet Sauvignon

Peter Cummings has firmly established his reputation as a quality wine maker (he also grows superb cherries, tomatoes and avocadoes). The 1995 Cabernet is still a little youthful and a good breathe is recommended. Opaque crimson colour with mauve edges.The nose is immediately appealing with vanillin oak, ripe blackcurrants and confectionary aromas. The palate displays ripe Cabernet fruit flavours, with lots of plums and spice. Good length of flavour, fine grain tannin structure. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
