1995 Warburn Estate Show Reserve Chardonnay

Bright, golden straw colour, showing bottle age. The nose displays aromas of ripe peaches and melons with pronounced cinnamon oak evident. The palates acidity is beginning to drop off, however, the peach / melon flavours continue onto the after flavour. Drink over the next 12 months.

Retasted 12/12/1998: Bright pale gold colour. Developed nose with aromas of barrel fermentation, spice and butterscotch and just a hint of cashew. The palate displays ripe melon, fig and butterscotch flavours with a hint of yeast lees. Generous, full bodied, with a hint of almond at the end. Soft acidity - but still holding up, with butterscotch, spice and peach aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
