1995 Tarrawarra Pinot Noir

Medium weight, brick red colour. The nose displays good depth with gamy, toasted oak aromas over a cherry, bacon background. The palate structure is a touch firm, but their is plenty of fruit to support the tannins (give the wine a couple of years). Cherry, plum and smoky oak flavours dominate, good balance and gamy toasted oak aftertaste. Not as heavy as the exceptional 1994 vintage, but a classy wine none the less. Cellar 5 years.
