Tasting note Bright amber / copper. Rock lolly in the opening inhalations; later inspection drops the intensity, accenting cocoa, roasted nuts, light sponge cake and hints of oatmeal biscuit plus flashes of varnish. Intense, slightly hot and bittersweet at mid palate but salvaged in the finish with a burst of vanilla malt, dried fig and sponge cake carried by a warm, peppery flourish.
