1994 The First Editions Auchroisk 21 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Reports have it that the sons of Indie bottlers, Hunter Laing are behind this unusual Auchroisk drawn from a wine finish barrel and bottled under the "First Editions" label. Known as 'Edition Spirits', the company was founded in 2010. Andrew Laing reviews maturing stocks on a monthly basis, bottling when the whiskies are at their best rather than being influenced by “round” ages such as 18 or 25 years old. Always at cask-strength and, naturally, without artificial colouring or chill-filtration, this release was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2015 with an outturn of just 277 bottles.
