1994 Rymill Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is constructed with a firm tannic backbone that is classic Cabernet Sauvignon. It's tight knit and solid, almost gigantic in its monumentally, and needs to see a little of Mother Nature firmness removed by time - and time will create a gentle aromatic delight. Deep brick red colour. The nose is restrained but with some coaxing yields a perfumed blackcurrant and cedar aroma with just the faintest trace of tea leaf. On the palate, blackcurrants, spice and plums dominate, the tannin structures are fine but firm and in balance to the fruit. Cellar 8 - 10 years.
