Sourced from Padthaway and McLaren Vale vineyards the wine was matured for up to 2 years in a combination of new and one year old French and American oak.Deep ruby red colour. The nose displays ripe blackberry aromas with lifted spice and licquorice which are enhanced by toasty, cedary oak characters. The palate reflects the nose with a mouthfilling richness and exceptional length. Fine grained tannin finish. Cellar 10-15 years. 14% alcohol volume. Winner of 2 trophies and 6 gold medals.
