1994 Cooper's Choice Old Rhosdhu 27 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Old Rhosdhu was the name (or one of the names) given to single malt scotch whisky distilled at the Loch Lomond distillery before its temporary closure in 2000. This 27 year old promises the lovely light elegant malt that Old Rhosdhu could be alongside bold oak spice and nut character. Previously, we tasted a 25 year old from Cooper's Choice and found it to be one of those rare malts that fizzes and sparkles and feels like it could go on ageing forever. Undoubtedly this will be another hidden gem for select whisky boffins to savour. 360 bottles. 47% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Extremely limited stocks.

Notes from the bottlers... Sweet tropical fruits with pear and apple... Walnuts and more fruit with toasted cereals and spices. Barley sugar. Medium length with spice and fruit.
