Grape Varieties: 50% Grechetto, 35% Trebbiano and 15% Garganega
Region: From a small vineyard situated near the community of Bevagna in the central Italian region of Umbria.
Production: The grapes are handpicked in late September and placed on racks to dry for over 2 months. The grapes then undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature before being placed in oak casks for three years before being bottled.
Characteristics: A brilliant amber colour with an aroma of dried fruits and muscatel’s. Delicately sweet on the palate with a long intense nutty finish.
Serve: 12-16° C
Try it with: Dip almond biscuits in it, or drink as an after dinner wine of meditation.
