An interesting Glen Keith finished in an x rye whiskey barrel, a relatively rare kind of finishing for the Scotch whisky industry, also one of the older Glen Keiths to make it to market.

Notes from the bottlers... Colour: Rich Gold. Nose: Banana and almond cake, with a toffee sauce, underpinned by toasted oak. Taste: Complex and full-bodied. Orchard fruits, honey and homebaking. Peach and raisin pie, with golden syrup drizzled on top. Quite strong peppery notes. Finish: Rich, sweet and spicy. 52.2% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
