This is another astonishing example of the extraordinarydiversity of grapes planted by Henry Best. The Dolcetto is anItalian variety which was planted on the Concongella block in1869. This wine is made from those same vines - however, it doesnot have the power or intensity of old vines shiraz. Mediumweight bright crimson mauve edges. The nose displays an inkyquality which is also carried onto the palate. Soft, with finedry tannin finish. A delightful summer wine that will cellar fora further 2-3 years.\Z
