1993 Best's Bin 0 Great Western Shiraz

No 1993 Best's Thomson Shiraz was made from the 129 year oldvines, the fruit being put into this wine. Viv Thomson's GreatWestern Shiraz has two distinct characteristics, concentratedpeppery flavours and silky smooth tannins. The 1993 is adelight. Deep crimson colour. The nose is quite outstanding witharoma of ripe spicy plums, confectionary and blackpeppers. Thepalate is classic blackpepper shiraz, quite pronounced, enhancedby a background of ripe plums and blackberries. Excellentbalance, beautifully fine grained tannins and long peppery spiceaftertaste.
