Tasting note: [Sherry Butt #224776 tasted] Dull copper / amber colour. A whiff of rubber band and a blast of spirit heat. Several minutes fails to stimulate the aromatic range beyond vague notes of vanilla and stewed apple. A creamy entry leads into a mildly bittersweet attack. Fleeting rum like sugars are closed by bitter cocoa, alcoholic prickle and drying oak. Narrows to next to nothing in the final stages. 56.8% Alc./Vol.
