Speyside, Highlands, SCOTLAND
$230. 00

$2760.00 Dozen
ABV: 53%
The tastings for the latest batch of Adelphis were limited to 20ml samples - just enough to paint the picture and recommend, but not enough to retaste and confirm our initial impressions. Generally speaking, they represent another first class selection of young and old malts from one of Scotland's top independent bottlers.

Glen Keith is a distillery built by and owned by Chivas Brothers (part of the Pernod Ricard group since 2001) within eyesight of their centre piece distillery, Strathisla.

Tasting note: Pale straw gold appearance. Moderate bouquet is very pure and appealing - at first in a vaguely toffee apple way becoming more beeswax like with hints of stone fruit contributing freshness. Medium dry, rich and creamy in the mouth with delicious spicy fruity flavours (pear, peach?). Finishes pleasantly warming and long. The balance at high ABV is exceptional. Solid. 228 bottle produced. 53% Alc./Vol.
