From a distillery whose whiskies can hold up for decades without loss of vitality. Distilled in 1988 and bottled after 29 years in oak, this was filled from a refill ex-Sherry Butt yielding just under 500 bottles.

Tasting note: Flawless, polished gold. Entrancing floral / orchard fruit / orange zest bouquet combines with cocoa, beeswax and purring spices. The distinctive beeswax slant to the delivery references the most definitive expressions of Clynelish. Unfolds in a slow cascade of creamy, apply malt, dappling the tongue with mini spice explosions. Oily, with dark chocolate through the aftertaste. Very long. Out of the norm for this distillery, really distinctive Glen Grant. 52.2% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 465 bottles.
