1981 Sevenhill Vintage Port

This is a developed Vintage Port, but with a considerable futureas well. Deep brick red colour with sienna brown edges. The noseis superb, showing considerable complexity due to bottle age.Ripe plum pudding and raisin mince cakes on the nose, withmarzipan overtones - excellent penetration with strong, finebrandy spirit background. The palate is filled with generousplum pudding and liquorice flavours, fine dry tannins, longclean dry finish and wonderful mellow brandy spirit lingeringlong into the aftertaste.
