Super old Miltonduff, in fact one of the oldest bottled to date.

This is what independents like Adelphi do best - old, rare, all-natural whiskies from distilleries most have no idea even exist.
Another Speysider ranked ‘Top Class’ by blenders, Miltonduff remains a key component in Ballantine’s and Teacher’s. As a result little is available as a single malt – indeed, Allied Distillers, its owner, do not bottle the malt themselves. Established in 1824, now under the parent ownership of Pernod Ricard, six pot stills are employed, and two Lomond stills. Typically a combination of American oak and x Sherry casks are used.

This indie edition was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2018 with an outturn of 138 bottles. 51.8% Alc./Vol. Extremely limited allocation.
